Malcolm
Ethan and I met through our love of the TV show Survivor, both having had the opportunity to play in shorter versions of the game we love. And now we want to bring the love of playing these games to you all.
I’m Malcolm, a primary school teacher with over 30 years of experience in education.
In 2005, my Year 5 class played the very first large-scale challenge game I designed. What started as a classroom activity quickly grew into something much bigger.
Since then, more than 2,000 students from Years 3 to 6 have taken part in games I’ve created — with events ranging from 25 to 120 participants at a time. Many more students have experienced adapted versions of these challenges, including K–2 classes.
With a genuine passion for creating engaging, team-based challenge experiences, I’ve also hosted party events for friends and community groups.
Now, I’m excited to share these challenge-based games more widely — giving more children (and even adults!) the opportunity to play, compete, collaborate, and have fun.
Ethan
Hey everyone, Im Ethan. I’ve built my professional experience through a range of customer support and sales roles, where I developed strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Working directly with customers taught me how to adapt to different people and situations, while my time in sales helped me build confidence, resilience, and the ability to think on my feet. I also stepped into a leadership position as a team leader, managing a team of nine people, where I gained valuable experience in mentoring, organisation, and motivating others to perform at their best.
These experiences have played a big role in shaping the business I run today. Combining my professional background with my passion for creating engaging experiences, I now design and run games and activities for school students inspired by my love of Survivor. The teamwork, strategy, and leadership elements from both my work life and the show come together in what I offer—giving students the chance to challenge themselves, build confidence, and have fun through interactive, Survivor-style activities.
